The most common way to check if you memorised a word is matching it to its meaning. But real conversation gives you no time to match — you have to say it on the spot. The difficulty tightens and loosens on its own

In auto mode, the time limit tightens or loosens on its own depending on how fast you answer. Answer quickly and the next limit gets shorter; miss it and you get more room — a single line on the correct/incorrect screen tells you whether the limit just tightened or loosened.

You never pick the difficulty by hand. Keep going and it naturally settles at a pace that fits you.

Get it wrong, and you drill it on the spot — with pronunciation scoring

If you cannot say it in time or get it wrong, you can drill just that word on its own. This drill scores the voice you just produced phoneme by phoneme, and shows which sound was weak.

So it does not stop at "I could not get it out fast enough" — you can see right there why that particular sound did not come out.

If you keep missing it after several tries, the screen shows a hint pointing to exactly where your sound and the target sound diverge. You can also play back the voice you just recorded, right next to the native sound, and hear the difference for yourself.

One session covers 20 words. Your first round is an 8-word warm-up to get a feel for it before the real thing starts.

Words you got wrong come back within the same session. Missing one is not the end — a review round made only of your misses lets you try again right there.

A record builds up

How many you got right in a row, and your personal best in this language, both stay on screen. You can see whether today beat yesterday not by score, but by "how fast did I say it".

How is it judged whether what I said is correct?
